EMA Congratulates Rohan Jayakrishnan and Sarah Sarwin for Their Outstanding Leadership and Service



EMA congratulates Rohan Jayakrishnan and Sarah Sarwin for Their Outstanding Service and Leadership and Service in raising $31,414.37 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through the Student Visionaries of the Year program.
Leading a team of High school students, Rohan and Sarah dedicated over 200 hours to support LLS’s mission of funding blood cancer research, providing patient support, and advancing policy and advocacy. Their commitment, compassion, and determination united their team and delivered meaningful impact in the fight against blood cancer.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to what young people can accomplish when driven by purpose and guided by empathy. EMA applauds Rohan and Sarah for their hard work and for representing the values of service and leadership that define our community.
We are very proud to celebrate this milestone and the example they have set for their peers and all of us.
Anirudh Saji Nair
Celebrating EMA Talent: National Gold Medal Winner!


EMA proudly congratulates Anirudh Saji Nair, a student at Downingtown High School West and a member of our EMA family, for earning a National Gold Medal in Photography at the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards!
His award-winning piece, “The Golden Mirror,” was selected from over 310,000 submissions nationwide – a truly outstanding accomplishment that reflects his creativity, dedication, and artistic vision.
Presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have recognized the most exceptional teen artists and writers in the country since 1923.
We are incredibly proud of Anirudh and celebrate this national recognition with the entire EMA community. Your achievements inspire us all!
Sidharth Sumesh
EMA Celebrates: Sidharth Sumesh for National Quiz Bowl Success!

We are proud to recognize Sidharth Sumesh (son of Sumesh Kesavan) and the Henderson High School Academic Team for their historic achievement at the NAQT High School National Championship held in Atlanta, GA over Memorial Day weekend.
Competing against 336 of the top teams from across the country and beyond, Sidharth and his teammates — Aidan Anderson, Peter Kennedy, Kyle Meade, and Vijay Nair — delivered an extraordinary performance over two grueling days of competition. Their team, Henderson A, secured a 4th place national finish, placing them firmly among the top quiz bowl teams in the country!
This milestone marks:
The highest-ever finish for any Chester County school
The best performance by a Pennsylvania team since 2011
The team’s journey was nothing short of inspiring, with five straight wins on Sunday and a thrilling run through the elimination rounds before finishing in the semi-finals.
EMA is incredibly proud of Sidharth and his team for representing our community on the national stage and bringing home this outstanding honor. Congratulations to all the students for this truly historic accomplishment!
Dr. Archana S. Nair
EMA Applauds Dr. Archana S. Nair on a Remarkable Medical Milestone


EMA proudly congratulates Dr. Archana S. Nair on successfully completing her Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, one of the most competitive and demanding specialties in the medical field.
Dr. Nair’s journey is a powerful story of perseverance, determination, and excellence. Between 2002 and 2015, she trained and practiced as an ENT surgeon in India, building a strong foundation in medicine. After relocating to the United States, she undertook the highly challenging process of re-establishing her medical career — completing residency and then gaining acceptance into, and completing, one of the toughest fellowships in the country.
Today, Dr. Nair stands as a highly respected and sought-after physician in the United States, with credentials that speak to her hard work, skill, and unwavering dedication to patient care.
EMA proudly celebrates her success and acknowledges the years of commitment it took to reach this point. Dr. Archana Nair is an inspiration to our community, and we are honored to recognize her achievements.

EMA Congratulates Anwitha Ajith for Her Outstanding Artistic Achievement


EMA proudly congratulates Anwitha Ajith, a talented student from West Bradford Elementary School, for earning 1st place in the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s 2025 Lyme Disease Student Art Competition. Competing in the first and second grade division, Anwitha’s creative poster helped promote tick safety and awareness to students and families across the state.
Her artistry, imagination, and dedication to spreading this important health message exemplify the values of leadership and community engagement that EMA celebrates. Anwitha’s achievement not only highlights her own talent, but also inspires her peers to use their creativity to make a difference.
