General Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility
- Participants are welcome to register for multiple events, subject to schedule availability.
- Age eligibility will be determined as of May 16th, 2026 and participants will be group accordingly.Example: A participant born on May 16, 2016 will be considered 10 years old.
A participant born on May 15, 2016 will be considered 9 years old.
Registration
- All registrations must be completed through the official portal.
- Chest numbers will be assigned and shared with participants via the event portal on the event date.
- Please note that registration fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
Participation & Time Guidelines
- Each event has its own set of rules and time guidelines to ensure fairness for everyone.
- Participants are requested to stay within the allotted time, as exceeding it may lead to point deductions.
- Non-compliance with rules may lead to disqualification.
Gender Neutral Participation
- There are no gender-based divisions, and participants will compete together regardless of gender.
Check-in & Reporting
- To help events run on time, participants are requested to report 30–45 minutes before their scheduled performance.
- Late arrivals may not be accommodated, so we recommend arriving early.
- Chest numbers should be clearly visible during performances.
Music & Technical Requirements
- For events that require music, pre-recorded tracks should be uploaded in advance.
- Only approved formats (such as instrumental or karaoke tracks, where applicable) will be accepted as per event guidelines.
- To keep things running smoothly, music changes will not be possible on the event day.
Judging & Results
- Performances will be thoughtfully evaluated by a panel of qualified judges.
- Each event will follow clearly defined judging criteria and weightage.
- Judges’ decisions will be considered final.
Code of Conduct
- We ask all participants and attendees to help us maintain a positive, respectful, and disciplined environment.
- Any behavior that disrupts the event experience may result in disqualification or removal from the venue.
Props & Costumes
- Props are welcome as long as they are minimal, safe, and relevant to the performance.
- For everyone’s safety, unsafe or prohibited items are not allowed. This includes (but is not limited to) sharp objects (knives, blades), fire or flame (candles, diyas), flammable materials, heavy or bulky props that are difficult to manage, liquids that may spill, or any items that could pose a risk to participants or the audience.
- Please note that organizers are unable to take responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings.
Photography & Media
- To capture and celebrate the event, organizers may photograph or record performances for promotional purposes.
- Parents and guardians are welcome to take photos or videos from designated areas behind the judging panel. For the smooth conduct of performances and to avoid distractions, photography or videography from in front of the stage or judging area is not permitted.
Schedule Changes
- While we aim to stick to the planned schedule, adjustments may occasionally be necessary.
- Any updates or changes will be shared through official communication channels.
Liability
- Participation is voluntary and at each individual’s own discretion.
- Organizers are not responsible for personal injuries or loss of personal belongings.
Parental Responsibility
- Parents and guardians are kindly requested to always supervise their participating children.
- This also applies to any non-participating children who may accompany them.
- The organizing team is unable to supervise unattended children.
Final Authority
- The organizing committee’s decision will be final in all matters related to the event.
Event Registration Fees
- EMA Members: $15 per event.
- Non-Members: $20 per event.
- Fees are charged per participant, per event, and payment must be completed during registration to confirm participation.
